Forest Kingdom, 2022

In September 2022, the Forest Kingdom eco-trail opened in Stepyanka forest park near Geologicheskaya St. and Soltys Lane. It is 828 m long and has eleven stops. The trail includes both active recreation areas and quiet rest zones. Three of the 11 stops are active areas for children of different ages:

• ages 3 to 7 – a sandbox, slide, swings, spring riders and an information stand “Rare plant species of the eco-trail”;
• ages 7 and older – a large anthill with a stand “Ants – the forest’s cleaners”, plus a rope town;
• the Workout zone – outdoor gym equipment for street gymnastics.

Three more stops are quiet rest areas with benches, a gazebo, hammocks and swings. A distinctive feature is the barefooting zone: 17 sections with different surfaces and barrels for washing feet. It is the only trail of this kind in Minsk and has handrails so visitors with visual impairments can use it too.

Benches are placed along the whole trail, and there is a service area with containers for separate waste collection.
